Managing the AMASS File System

Example
Step 1. Log in as root.
Step 2. Because this utility modifies the AMASS File
System Database, first make a copy of the AMASS
database, /usr/filesysdb.
Step 3. Enter the path and utility shown in the following
example:
# su root
# /usr/amass/utils/sysdbchk
Note
The sysdbchk program creates a log file after each run containing all found
errors. The name of the file is sysdbchk.log and is created in the current
directory by default.
Note
Sysdbchk uses temporary files to carry out its function. By default
these files are created in /usr/filesysdb/tmp. Use the -c option to
redirect temporary files to a specified directory. This can also be
done by using the environment variable
SYSDBCHK_CACHE_DIR.
